Week 5 of the 2017 NFL season brought the Los Angeles Rams to the Century Link Field in Seattle for a game against the Seahawks. The Rams had been playing tough scoring on average 35 pts per last 4 games and the Seahawks had picked up considerably producing 910 yards of offense in the past two weeks. So we were all hoping for a good match as we rooted on our beloved seahawks as these two NFC West foes faced each other. It was a low scoring game as the Seahawks pulled all the red zone stops helping them secure the win 16-10. The game featured  Earl Thomas knocking the ball  loose out of Todd Gurley’s hand just as the Rams were reaching for the touchdown on their opening drive. After the play was reviewed the touchdown had turned into a turnover  giving Seattle the ball at the 20 yrd line. But that wasn’t the only red zone stop, Sheldon Richardson made a spectacular play to intercept a pass that bounced off Gurley’s hands and  the Seattle Seahawks  attempted field goals on two other trips to the red zones including a three-and-out after a turnover. Seattle’s defense proves to be strong as they took on one of the highest scoring teams this season coming into this game. Even though the Rams pulled a 27 yrd touchdown in the 1st half, it just was not enough against the Seattle Seahawks 5 trips to the redzone . The Rams  might have been able to move the ball, but it just wasn’t enough against the Seahawks defense holding them back  as they took the win 16-10.

Go Hawks!
